2026 OPEN HOUSE FESTIVAL/Heritage Open Days event

Sunday 13 September 2026 (TBC)

British Optical Association Museum

College of Optometrists, Craven Street, London

Time: 12pm-5pm

London Open House is an annual event spread over a week or more when venues, including many not normally open to the public, welcome visitors, without charge, to explore their treasures. The College of Optometrists will once again open its doors on a Sunday welcoming visitors to view the magnificent paintings (Naturally all having an optical theme!) in the Council Room, engravings in the Print Room as well as the British Optical Association Museum housed within the lower ground floor. No appointment or booking required.

A chance for Club volunteers to educate and be educated by the visitors as well as enjoying the company of good friends, so grateful thanks to the Curator and management of the College for allowing us to share in the proceedings.
